The Newton First Aid Squad, formed in 1957, has been serving the Town of Newton, NJ and our neighboring communites
for over 50 years. Newton, NJ is the County Seat for Sussex County with over 8,200 residents and we are dedicated to providing
Emergency Medical Services to its residents and all those in need. The Newton First Aid Squad answered over 1,257 calls in 2007
with an all volunteer membership whose primary goal is providing the highest quality care to our patients.
The Newton First Aid Squad provides its services at no-cost to its patients and is comprised entirely of volunteer members.
It is through your donations and contributions that our squad is able to cover the expense of our daily operations, equipment/apparatus
maintenance, patient transport, and patient care.
While donations are always welcomed, our greatest contributions are from the people who volunteer. The Newton First Aid Squad is always
looking for new members that are willing to provide the time to volunteer in providing patient care and helping your community. The squad
